29/12/08 - Website launched!

31/12/08 - Some new photos added to Blythe's page, one to Hermione's page and two new albums added to the Gallery; the girls' family albums! Happy New Year!

01/01/09 - New photos added to Blythe and Hermione's pages.

07/01/09 - New photos added to Jake's page and the Photo Gallery (both Blythe and Hermione's Family Albums). Thanks to Heather Turner for allowing me to use photographs of Blythe's Grandparents; a link to the Locheil website has also been added to my Links page.

January 2009 - Blythe has now attended her first two ringcraft classes and, thus far, she is proving a dream to train and handle. Calm and relaxed with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, she stands to be felt over and then gaits around like she has done it all before and knows just what she has to do. We are members of the Suffolk Kennel Association and attend their classes at Hintlesham on a Tuesday evening. Please contact me for contact details and further information about the club if you are interested in joining!

21/01/09 - New photos of some of the bantams added to their page.

25/01/09 - Southern Border Collie Club Open Show, Kent - Hermione moved beautifully and, as always, worked her little white socks off for me. We all had a lovely day and I was thrilled when the judge (Mr Keith Baldwin) placed Hermione 3rd in Yearling and the same in her first ever Graduate class. Our little girl is no longer a 'Junior'!

31/01/09 - East of England Ladies Kennel Society Open Show, Norfolk - We braved the cold and headed up to EELKS show, only to find that it wasn't much warmer inside than it was out! Despite the weather, we had a great day and Hermione made us all very proud by being placed 2nd in Yearling and 1st in the Open class. Thanks to Kay Randall for thinking so highly of our little girl (who showed her appreciation by being naughty and showering both judge and steward with kisses!). A new photo of Hermione has been added to her page.

07/02/09 - New album, 'Girls in the snow', added to the Photo Gallery

08/02/09 - New photo added to Hermione's page and another album added to the Photo Gallery

14/03/09 - Sherringham & District Kennel Association Open Show, Norwich - Hermine placed 3rd in the Open class.

22/03/09 - Border Collie Club of Great Britain Championship Show, Newark - Hermione placed 5th (VHC) in Novice bitch.

24/03/09 - New album added to the photo gallery - Blythe at 5 months old

05/04/09 - Herts & Essex Border Canine Society Open Show, Ipswich - Hermione placed 3rd in the Open class.

12/04/09 - Southern Border Collie Club Championship Show, Maidstone - After handling Blythe's older brother, Ollie (Borderbeau Emporio Armani) to win the strong Post-Graduate Dog class, I was over-the-moon to be placed 4th in Yearling Bitch (14,1a) and 3rd in Graduate Bitch (11, 4a) with Hermione. This was Hermione's fourth Championship show and she has been placed at each one. Only one week to go until Blythe's debut!

21/08/09 - A much overdue update at last! Over the past four months Blythe has commenced her show career with a few shows, both Open and Championship, over the summer. Two Reserve places gained at Bath and East of England Agricultural Society Champ shows were the cause of much celebration, and both girls have enjoyed some success at the Open shows too. Hermione's agility training is ongoing; she is improving each week and is now in the intermediate training group.

August 9th saw several members of the extended Borderbeau family meeting together at Needham Lakes in Suffolk for the annual reunion. It was a fantastic afternoon and a wonderful opportunity to meet Blythe's litter sister and brother, Roxy and Bailey, for the first time since they parted almost ten months earlier. A few snaps taken on the day can be seen on Blythe's page.

17/08/09 - Blythe and Hermione both underwent the gonioscopy test at Newmarket Animal Health Trust. They were tested by European Opthalmology Specialist, Claudia Hartley. Both girls were passed as goniodysgenesis 'unaffected'. Whilst there, the girls also underwent the annual test for PRA; both passed this too. Hermione and Blythe were extremely patient and well-behaved throughout, both enjoying the fuss and treats that they received from the wonderful team at the AHT.

Pictures have been added to Hermione, Blythe, Jake and Tiggy's page :)
