A site all about our beloved Border Collies

Border Collie Litters

Whilst we do not currently breed ourselves, we do often know of upcoming and current litters of pups, from which there may occasionally be puppies available. If you are thinking about welcoming a Border Collie puppy into your lives and would like to enquire about known litters, or just to have a chat about the breed etc., I will always be more than happy to help in anyway that I can. Just go to my contact page and send me a message and I will get back to you.

Finding a Border Collie Puppy...

There is so much information available today to prospective puppy buyers, that it can be a little overwhelming for those starting out on the path to finding a new family member. If you have not owned a Border Collie before but are thinking about welcoming one into your family, please please think long and hard and really do your research before making a commitment to care for a puppy for, hopefully, the next 12-16 years. Given the right care, love, attention, socialisation, diet, training and exercise (which includes, crucially, mental stimulation), a Border Collie can be an incredibly rewarding, loyal and affectionate pet with whom you will enjoy many years of companionship. Sadly, too many Border Collies end up in rescue centres each year because their owners did not appreciate how much work and commitment goes into creating and maintaining a successful and enjoyable partnership with this very complex breed. All good breeders (who will be breeding for temperament as well as looks, from health-tested dogs) will be more than happy to advise you about your suitability as a Border Collie owner, and help you to find the right puppy for you and your family. Have a look on my links page for links to some breeders' websites. I wish you the very best of luck in your research!
